We are 8 young people under 30 with very different ideas, interests and characters. All of us have made available their skills to achieve a common goal: to give voice to the city of Bergamo.
Umberto Da Re
Umberto Da Re, 30 years old, is graduated from the SAE institute in color correction for cinema. He works in the field of industrial photography in his family's photographic studio, Studio Fotografico Da Re, as well as being colorist and photography director.
Together with Matilde and Lorenzo, he followed the Red Cross - Committee of Bergamo, Bergamo Ovest Civil Protection and BergamoxBergamo for more than two months in order to document their work.
In the second work phase, he directed the photography during the interviews in the studio and he was in charge of the color correction once the editing was done.
Matilde Da Re
Matilde Da Re, 27 years old, graduated in modern literature, she is an events, weddings and portraits photographer in her family' s photographic studio, Studio Fotografico Da Re.
In the first phase of the project, together with Lorenzo and Umberto, she followed the Red Cross - Committee of Bergamo, Bergamo Ovest, Civil Protection and BergamoxBergamo for more than two months as a reporter.
In the second work phase she dealt with all organizational and bureaucratic aspects, taking on the role of production director.
Lorenzo Urbani
Lorenzo Urbani, 23 years old, works in the field of industrial video and photography closely with Studio Da Re.
Together with Matilde and Umberto, he followed the Red Cross - Committee of Bergamo, Bergamo Ovest Civil Protection and BergamoxBergamo for more than two months in order to document their hard work.
In the second phase of the project he dealt with the filming during the interviews in the studio.
Adelina Shahwan
Adelina Shahwan, 24 years old, attended the Graphic Design & Art Direction course at the NABA Academy.
In this project, she worked with Nicolò as an assistant director, she also took the role of script supervisor, making the interviewees' narration fluent during the editing process.
Nicolò De Nunzio
Nicolò De Nunzio, 27 years old, graduated in film directing at the IED Institute. In everyday life he deals with professional video productions in his own studio 2.40 Video Production.
In this documentary he took on the role of director and video editor in order to transform the reportage images, taken in the first work phase, into a real documentary story.
Andrea Facheris
Andrea Facheris, 36 years old, owner of the recording studio Loft-1, is a composer, sound designer and foley artist.
In this project he was responsible for the audio department during the recording, post-production and final mixing phases.
Marina Maestroni
Marina Maestroni, a 24 years old woman with a degree in Communication Sciences, is attending the Production Management Master (IPM) at the Catholic University of Milan.
She took part in this project as a production assistant dealing with the management and organization of the interviewees and the crew.
Rocco Bergamelli
Rocco Bergamelli, 23 years old, recently graduated in New Technologies for Art at the Carrara Academy of Bergamo, is currently attending the first year at the G. Donizetti Conservatory of Bergamo.
In this project he took on the role of reporter documenting the city and its main streets emptied of their usual life. He took part in the interviews that were filmed in the studio as a camera operator.
